Woodbury – High-Speed Crash With Injuries
Two motorists sustained injuries after a collision in Woodbury last Tuesday afternoon.
The crash occurred just before 4:00 p.m. on Sherman Hill Road, near its intersection with Heritage Drive. A 2003 Toyota Avalon, driven by 65-year-old Joseph Mustich, was traveling west when it crossed the center line and collided with a 2010 Lexus driven by 35-year-old Kelly Nicholson. Both drivers were injured in the accident, and emergency crews have already tended to both motorists’ injuries. The incident is still being investigated, and officials will release updates as they become available.
Head-on collisions typically result in serious injuries, so identifying who or what causes these accidents is important to prevent future incidents. Having said that, if reckless or negligent behavior is established in any of these cases, injured parties may have the option of filing for damages if their legal counsel deems it appropriate.
