Winchester – Vehicles In Pedestrian Incident Identified

Officials have identified vehicles possibly involved in a recent pedestrian incident in Winchester.

On January 10, authorities received reports of a crash at the intersection of Main and Union Streets. Responders found 30-year-old Anthony Menard lying on the ground with serious head injuries. He was immediately transported to Charlotte-Hungerford Hospital and was airlifted (LifeStar) to Hartford Hospital shortly after. As of posting time, he remains in serious condition but is expected to survive. Officials are now investigating two vehicles that may have been involved in the crash. The investigation is still ongoing, and more updates will be provided as authorities release more info.

This case highlights the dedication authorities will always exhibit when dealing with road-related incidents. Suffice it to say, responsible parties must be brought to justice. Having said that, aggrieved parties are advised to seek legal guidance because, under appropriate circumstances, they may also have the option of filing damage claims against negligent individuals.
