Wallingford – Highway Crash

Two vehicles collided on the highway in Wallingford yesterday afternoon.

The right lane of Route 15 South was blocked following a collision that occurred between two vehicles near Exit 63 (Hartford Turnpike). Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the area to assist motorists injured in the crash. Authorities have yet to specify the number of people affected by the incident, but fire and EMS teams were requested on-site. The accident site has since been cleared, and officials are now investigating the cause of the crash. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is encouraged to contact authorities and assist with the investigation.

In many cases, witness reports have helped authorities track down and apprehend parties responsible for various road-related incidents. This is noteworthy because bringing responsible individuals to justice will improve road safety for everyone. It can also, under appropriate circumstances, enable aggrieved parties to pursue their own legal avenues against culprits, including filing for damages.
