At around 5:48 p.m., 23-year-old Kent Bahler of Ellington was riding his dirt bike when it collided with a vehicle that was backing out of a driveway at 112 Snipsic Lake Road. Bahler sustained critical injuries and was immediately taken to Rockville General Hospital before he was airlifted (LifeStar) to Hartford Hospital. At 5:48 p.m., 31-year-old Stephen Cordner of Vernon was backing out of a driveway when a dirt bike collided with his vehicle. 23-year-old Kent Bahler of Ellington was riding the bike and sustained serious injuries in the crash, while Cordner was not injured. Three vehicles collided on Frog Hollow Road just before 6:00 p.m., resulting in heavy damage and serious injuries. Ellington – Injury After Road Maintenance Accident

A government employee was injured in a road accident in Ellington last Monday.

The incident occurred in front of 30 Maplewood Drive at around 12:52 p.m. The victim was part of a crew working on a maintenance project.
