Stratford – Rollover Accident Injures A Driver
A rollover crash injures a driver on Merritt Parkway yesterday.
Connecticut State Police reported a crash that occurred on the northbound side of Merritt Parkway at around 3:30 p.m. Authorities had to close a section of the highway between exits 53 and 55 immediately after the accident, resulting in heavy traffic in that section of Route 15. The road has since been cleared. The driver of the vehicle sustained injuries and had to be assisted by emergency responders.
Rollover accidents typically cause serious injuries to drivers and passengers. In these types of incidents, authorities try to determine if the event is caused by driver error or negligence, or by car defects or even improper road structures. Having said that, personal injuries caused by defective cars or roadways, or reckless driver behavior, allow aggrieved parties to file for compensation claims.
