Southington, CT (March 3, 2022) – A multi-vehicle crash ended in serious injuries and shut down a portion of westbound Interstate 84 in Southington on Thursday evening, March 3.
EMS, fire crews, and officers with the Southington Police Department responded to the scene, close to the area of Exit 29, around 6:30 p.m.
At least one person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, officers said, though their current condition is unknown. The accident shut down multiple lanes at Exit 29 to Main Street.
Police are continuing to investigate the wreck and say that no additional information is immediately available.
