Shelton – Multi-Vehicle Highway Crash

Three vehicles collided on the highway in Shelton yesterday morning.

Emergency teams were dispatched to Route 8 South following reports of a crash between Exits 13 and 12. Firefighters and paramedics arrived in the area and discovered three vehicles that had collided, blocking off a significant portion of the thoroughfare. It has not been determined if entrapment, DUI, or hit-and-run could be involved, but all affected motorists have been tended to by responders. As of posting time, all lanes of the highway have been reopened. The crash is now under investigation. This post will be updated as new info becomes available.
