Seymour – Truck Crash With Injuries
A semi crashed on the highway in Seymour last Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred on the southbound side of Route 8 (Ansonia-Deby-Shelton Expressway) crossing Seymour, near exit 20. A tractor-trailer was involved in an accident that punctured both of its fuel tanks and injured its driver. Emergency crews immediately transported the victim to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment, while various ancillary crews performed cleanup after the truck leaked diesel fuel onto the highway. The case is still being investigated by authorities.
