Ridgefield – Road Plans After Spate Of Accidents
Ridgefield residents are studying road changes on Route 7 following several accidents in the area.
Residents in Ridgefield are currently working with state officials on a study that can help improve safety on Route 7, particularly its intersection with Ashbee Lane. Several accidents have already occurred in the area, including a crash last Thursday between two vehicles that blocked access to the intersection. That particular crash resulted in heavy damage and injuries, requiring the assistance of fire and EMS crews. This and other cases are currently being studied to determine the changes that can be made to the intersection to make it safer for all motorists. Updates regarding this proposal will be released as soon as progress has been made.
This petition highlights the importance of improving road safety for everyone plying all roads in the state. Despite this, accidents still happen, and motorists should be aware of their rights and options as involved parties in these unfortunate events. One good way of educating ourselves to these options is to consult legal experts.
