Norwich – Injuries In Intersection Crash

A bicyclist collided with a car in Norwich yesterday afternoon.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Boswell Avenue and Sandy Lane. According to officials, an SUV was at the intersection and was attempting to turn right when a male bicycle rider crashed into the vehicle’s right side. The rider sustained injuries in the collision and was transported by responders to The William W. Backus Hospital for treatment. The driver of the SUV was not hurt. The crash is currently being investigated. Authorities will release more information, including the identities of those involved, when appropriate.
