New Canaan – Pedestrian Accident Victim Identified

Officials just released the victim’s identity in last Tuesday’s pedestrian incident in New Canaan.

A toddler was struck by a vehicle on a residential driveway located on North Wilton Road. While the exact location of the incident has yet to be released, authorities have now identified the victim as 23-month-old Lucas Richard McGee. He was immediately hospitalized following the accident but did not survive due to the severity of his injuries. The identity of the driver continues to be withheld by authorities pending the progress of their investigation. Lucas was born on December 31, 2017 and was the son of Kate and Connor McGee.
