73-year-old Carol M. Belli of Groton has been denied her driving request by a judge. She is currently facing charges, including DUI, in connection with a March 9 incident where she hit and killed a couple on Route 27 (Greenmanville Avenue) while driving her car. Superior Court Judge Karyl Carrasquilla denied her driving request, emphasizing alcohol was involved in the incident.
