Milford – Multi-Vehicle Interstate Crash

An accident on the highway in Milford Monday evening resulted in several blocked lanes.

Emergency teams were dispatched to Exit 40 on I-95 North after officials received calls regarding an accident in the area. Several vehicles reportedly collided on-site at around 8:00 p.m., resulting in moderate damage and injuries. The incident blocked off the middle lanes of the interstate, forcing authorities to cordon off the area. No word yet on the cause of the crash. Officials are expected to release more info, including the identities of those involved, when appropriate.

Crash sites are high-risk areas for everyone involved, more so at night and on major thoroughfares. With this in mind, it’s important to clear these areas as quickly as possible while still allowing investigators to collect evidence so that liable parties can be identified and apprehended. The second point is particularly important to crash victims as this will allow them to find closure by pursuing the appropriate legal claims against these negligent parties.
