Marlborough – Serious Motorcycle Crash
A serious motorcycle crash occurred in Marlborough late yesterday.
Authorities responded to an accident on Route 2, also known as Veterans of Foreign Wars Highway, crossing Marlborough involving a single motorcycle. Officials closed the eastbound side of Route 2 between exits 12 and 13 due to the incident. The identity of the motorcycle rider has not been disclosed but authorities say the accident was fatal.
Motorcycle accidents are a major cause of serious or fatal injuries to people, so determining that these accidents don’t happen because of defective equipment and/or damaged road structures is imperative. That said, accidents that don’t hold motorcycle riders responsible entitle them to compensation claims.
