Glastonbury – Hit-And-Run Suspect/Vehicle Identified
Authorities have apprehended a suspect in last Thursday’s pedestrian incident in Glastonbury.
Last Thursday afternoon, 84-year-old Valda Dienavs was attempting to cross Griswold Street to retrieve her mail when she was struck by a vehicle. Dienavs sustained critical injuries and was declared dead. Yesterday, officials released an update confirming that a suspect in the fatal incident has been apprehended and the striking vehicle found. Authorities have not disclosed the identity of the 17-year-old female motorist and are still investigating the crash. More updates will be provided as soon as officials release more info.
