Danbury – Multiple Vehicle Accidents

Multiple accidents involving several vehicles occurred in Danbury, Fairfield County last Tuesday, May 14. Injuries were reported, and several people were sent to the hospital for treatment.

At 9:03 in the morning, emergency services were dispatched to the vicinity of 188 White Street where one person with unspecified injuries was transported to the hospital. Several minutes later, at 9:17, there were reports of another accident involving several vehicles in the area of 24 Clapboard Ridge Road. This accident apparently involved a dump truck and closed that road between the Ventura Avenue and Beckerle Street intersections for a few hours, eventually reopening at 11:24 a.m. As with the first incident, at least one person was sent to the hospital, according to reports.

Even with cars now equipped with comprehensive safety features, accidents can still result in injuries for both drivers and passengers. Filing incident reports and insurance claims, not to mention dealing with hospital expenses in some cases can be both aggravating and time-consuming.
