A motorcycle accident on I-91 prompted lane closures.
The incident occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 91 crossing Cromwell. The crash happened at around 12:00 noon between exits 21 and 22. Northbound lanes were closed by authorities but were eventually reopened at around 12:40 p.m. The police have yet to report on vehicles involved or injuries sustained by anyone in the incident.
Riding a motorcycle obviously involves more risk than riding a car. Investigating these types of accidents and identifying who or what caused the incident are very important due to the heightened risks involved. As with car-related accidents, motorcycle riders who sustain injuries because of reckless driving and/or negligence by other parties on the road can file for personal injury claims. Their rights and safety are protected just as much as other motorists.
