Brooklyn – Head-On Crash Victims Identified
Authorities in Brooklyn have released the identities of those involved in last Monday’s accident.
The head-on collision occurred at the intersection of Route 6 (Providence Road) and Prince Hill Road at approximately 6:05 a.m., severely damaging two vehicles. 51-year-old Tracy Desjardins of Plainfield was driving her 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe when she was struck by a 2005 Ford Taurus driven by 21-year-old Jahala Beaupre of Brooklyn. Desjardins was transported by emergency crews to Backus Family Health Center for minor injuries, while Beaupre was transported by LifeStar to Providence Hospital for serious injuries. Officials are still investigating the cause of the crash.
