Bristol – Driver Injured After Carjacking Attempt
Suspects attempted to steal a vehicle in Bristol early Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred at 106 Jerome Avenue a few minutes past midnight. According to the 22-year-old victim, he was walking towards his car when two individuals he knew approached him. They were talking when one of the suspects, 18-year-old Tyler Robertson, attacked him while he was inside the vehicle. The victim exited the car to defend himself. At this point, the second suspect, a 17-year-old male, entered the vehicle and was able to flee the scene. Authorities eventually recovered the stolen vehicle and apprehended both suspects. The victim sustained multiple injuries and was treated on-site. He refused hospitalization. Multiple charges have since been filed against the two assailants.
