Bridgeport – Vehicle Crashes Into Store
A vehicle caught fire after crashing into a building in Bridgeport early Saturday morning.
The incident occurred on Barnum Avenue. At approximately 1:00 a.m., a vehicle with two occupants crashed into a Wades Dairy, located at 1288 Barnum Avenue. The vehicle caught fire after the crash. Responders quickly extracted the motorists from the vehicle, after which they were immediately tended to by medical personnel. According to officials, one responder and one motorist were injured in the accident. The case is still under investigation. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
