Bridgeport – Pedestrian Accident

Reports just came in of a pedestrian accident in Bridgeport yesterday evening.

At approximately 6:12 p.m., authorities were alerted to an incident at the intersection of Putnam and East Main Streets and immediately dispatched emergency crews to the area. According to reports, a pedestrian was struck by an unidentified vehicle.  Responders quickly arrived on-site to assist everyone involved in the incident. Officials have yet to provide more details, but said the victim has been tended to by EMS personnel. This case is currently under investigation.
