Bridgeport – Intersection Accident

A pedestrian was hit by a passing vehicle in Bridgeport late yesterday evening.

Emergency teams were dispatched to the intersection of Maplewood and Howard Avenues at approximately 10:37 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a pedestrian who was seriously hurt after getting hit by a still-unidentified vehicle. The man was immediately tended to by paramedics, after which he was transported to the hospital for further treatment. Authorities have yet to disclose the identity of anyone involved and are currently investigating the incident. Officials will release updates when needed.
