Bloomfield – Fatalities In Shooting Incident

Two people were killed in a shooting incident in Bloomfield Saturday morning.

42-year-old Franklin Spencer of East Hartford and 43-year-old Aaron Walker of Windsor reportedly engaged in an argument with another party inside Elizabeth’s Bar & Restaurant on Park Avenue. The altercation continued when all parties involved reached the establishment’s parking lot. At this point, Spencer and Walker were shot at and critically injured. They were taken to the hospital but died soon after. Authorities immediately started an investigation and are now looking at 44-year-old Russell Smith of Windsor as a possible suspect. Other leads are still being pursued, and officials are asking anyone with info regarding the incident to contact them as soon as possible.

Most incidents of this nature can be challenging to investigate due to the dearth of witnesses or info typically needed to resolve these cases.
