Woodbridge – Official Killed In Crash
The fire marshall of Orange was killed in a crash in Woodbridge late Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 4:45 p.m., 56-year-old Timothy Smith of Prospect was driving on Route 69 when his vehicle swerved off the roadway and crashed. Smith sustained critical injuries in the incident and was declared dead soon after. The accident occurred near Downs Road and there is currently no indication that other vehicles were involved. Smith was the fire marshall of the town of Orange. The case is currently under active investigation and officials will release updates as new info becomes available.
