A teenager seriously injured in a crash in Wolcott was just awarded millions in damages.
Gabriel Goncalves has autism and was a sixth-grader at Tyrrell Middle School when, in June 2015, he was seriously injured after the school bus he was on figured in a crash. Goncalves sustained serious head injuries and has been in constant decline since the incident. His family subsequently filed a claim against the school bus owner and driver. The recent ruling grants Goncalves $23 million in damages.
