Wilton – Hit-And-Run Suspect Arrested
A driver suspected of causing an accident in Wilton was apprehended last Thursday.
43-year-old Jonathan Damast was arrested in connection to an incident where he crashed into another vehicle on Danbury Road, near Wilton Hills, causing damage and injuries. Instead of staying, Damast fled the accident scene. Witnesses were able to identify his vehicle, a blue Ford Escape, and he was found and arrested at his home that evening. He is currently facing charges of evading responsibility, tailgating and DUI.
Under appropriate circumstances, accidents that result in injuries can entitle aggrieved parties to damages/compensation. Incidents that involve DUI or negligence can only strengthen cases against suspects/culprits.
