It’s not uncommon for officials to temporarily withhold details of various accidents, particularly in cases where notifying victims’ next of kin or other important requirements have to be completed. Full public disclosure will be achieved in due time. Having said that, victims of these unfortunate events should be aware of the legal ramifications of these incidents. It’s obvious that responsible parties have to be brought to justice. What’s less apparent are the options that aggrieved parties may pursue with the help of expert legal counsel, including filing for damages if deemed appropriate.
