Westport – Highway Shooting Incident
A motorist was injured in a shooting accident in Westport late Thursday afternoon.
At 4:57 p.m., emergency teams were sent to Route 15 North after officials received reports of an accident between Exits 41 and 42. According to reports, a gun was accidentally fired in the area, injuring one person. All involved parties were immediately tended to by responders.
