West Haven – Vehicle Hits Commercial Building
A car hits a building in West Haven last Wednesday.
A few minutes before 3:00 p.m. a vehicle suddenly veered off its proper lane on Ocean Avenue, crashing into the RipTide Restaurant and Bar building. The structure incurred minor damage but remained open after the incident. Officials have not identified the driver yet but mentioned he experienced a medical issue that led to the accident. Responders transported the motorist to the hospital for treatment. Authorities are investigating the incident and will release more details when appropriate.
