Watertown – Rider In Critical Condition After Crash
A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Watertown last Wednesday afternoon.
A few minutes before 4:30 p.m., authorities responded to reports of a crash at the intersection of Skipper and Falls Avenues. Upon arriving at the scene they discovered a motorcycle that had collided with a car. The driver of the car was not hurt, while the motorcycle rider was immediately transported to Waterbury Hospital for treatment of serious injuries where he remains in critical condition. Falls Avenue was immediately closed to facilitate an investigation of the crash scene. The road was reopened at around 7:00 p.m. Officials have yet to release the identities of those involved and will do so when appropriate.
