Waterbury – Pedestrian Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver
A pedestrian was killed in an early-morning incident in Waterbury last Saturday.
At approximately 2:20 a.m., 69-year-old Henry Pearson was crossing the road in front of 900 North Main Street when a dark-colored sedan hit him. He was seriously hurt in the accident and was immediately brought by emergency crews to the hospital where he eventually died. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and fled the accident scene. Authorities are currently investigating the incident and looking for the suspect. Officials are asking anyone who may have information about the suspect to contact them as soon as possible.
