Significant traffic and less-than-ideal weather conditions on Thursday have made driving on major thoroughfares more risky. Motorists are always expected to exercise due care when navigating all roads in the state, regardless of conditions. That said, accidents that injure or kill people are thoroughly investigated to determine if negligence is involved.
