Voluntown – Entrapment After Vehicle Crash
Motorists were trapped inside their car after a crash in Voluntown last Saturday.
Authorities dispatched emergency crews to Ekonk Hill Road to assist people involved in a vehicle accident. According to officials, a car crashed on that road, resulting in entrapment. Fire and EMS crews quickly arrived at the scene to extricate and tend to the trapped motorists. The identities of the victims have yet to be disclosed pending an investigation.
