Trumbull – Pole Crash With Injuries

Two poles were damaged by an SUV in Trumbull last Tuesday.

Authorities sent emergency crews to Reservoir Avenue after reports of a crash in the area came in. According to responders, an SUV crashed and significantly damaged two utility poles along the roadway. One occupant inside the truck sustained injuries and was quickly tended to by EMS personnel. Crews from United Illuminating were also called in to repair the damaged poles. There is no word yet on the cause of the crash or if DUI was involved.
