Trumbull – Late Evening Highway Crash

Injuries were reported after a highway accident in Trumbull late Saturday evening.

Authorities are currently investigating an incident that occurred near Exit 48 (Main Street/Route 111) on Route 15 South. At approximately 11:39 p.m., an unspecified number of vehicles crashed in the area, resulting in injuries to at least one motorist. A portion of the highway was blocked off temporarily following the incident — all lanes have since been cleared. Officials have yet to identify anyone pending an investigation. Updates will be provided as soon as authorities release more info.

Emergency responders would have to process nighttime incidents as quickly as possible to avoid additional accidents and other collateral effects. And while evening driving is inherently riskier to all motorists, authorities can still make changes that could improve road safety for everyone. This includes identifying crash culprits/causes and preventing negligent drivers from hurting more people. That said, anyone injured in similar situations would benefit from consulting legal experts so that an appropriate course of action can be created for them.
