At around 1:30 a.m., emergency crews were dispatched to an accident that occurred on Tashua Road near Kent Lane. A truck was running along Tashua Road when it hit a utility pole, snapping it and trapping the driver inside the vehicle. He sustained injuries from the crash and was immediately transported to Bridgeport Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Vehicle entrapments usually involve serious injuries, so investigating these types of accidents is imperative. It’s also important to determine if product/vehicle defects could have caused these incidents, in which case victims could file for damage/compensation claims.
