37-year-old Donald A. Carelli of Milford was riding his bike with another cyclist when he was hit and fatally wounded by a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Derek C. Wallingford – DUI Suspect Admitted To Using Heroin

The man charged with fatally hitting a cyclist in Wallingford just admitted he used heroin before the crash.

The incident happened on May 25 when 37-year-old David Carelli, who was riding his bicycle on South Turnpike Road, was hit and fatally injured by 35-year-old Derek Fries from Meriden.
