Several people were hospitalized following a shooting incident in Bridgeport yesterday afternoon.

Shortly past noontime yesterday, four motorists, reportedly in their 20s, were inside a black sedan on Golden Hill Street just in front of the courthouse when unidentified assailants inside another vehicle fired at them. All four individuals sustained injuries and were immediately taken to the hospital by responders. Officials have since cordoned off the area, including the courthouse, and are now looking into the possibility that this is related to other incidents that have recently occurred in the city. This is a developing story. Updates will be provided as soon as more info becomes available.

City officials already have several suspects in their custody and are looking at the possible connection between this and other recent incidents. Many similar scenarios frequently involve reckless or negligent behavior, so it’s important to investigate these cases thoroughly until accountability has been established. Hamden – Fatal Road Shooting

A man was killed in Hamden early yesterday morning.

Authorities received reports of gunfire on Whiting Street at approximately 12:30 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the area and discovered 21-year-old Dennis Allen-Paige who was on the ground and critically injured. He was immediately transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Authorities did not find any suspect or witness at the incident scene when they arrived. The case is currently under active investigation. Witnesses are encouraged to come forward and provide any relevant info or help officials locate any possible suspect/assailant.

Witness reports are very useful in resolving this type of incident. Culprits/suspects would almost always flee crime scenes, making it very challenging for authorities to establish accountability.  These things said, it would always be beneficial to consult legal experts if ever we or our loved ones are involved in any of these situations so that our options can be thoroughly evaluated.
