Local police just released more information about last Friday’s fatal crash.
Vernon police have identified all motorists and vehicles involved in the fatal accident as they continue to investigate the cause of the tragic crash. 31-year-old Munira Qureshi was driving a Hyundai Elantra sedan when she collided with a Chevrolet sedan driven by 61-year-old Randall Berube. A Subaru sedan driven by 49-year-old Kevin Zorda was also involved in the crash. Qureshi was transported to Rockville Hospital where she was eventually pronounced dead, while Berube was taken to Hartford Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Zorda sustained minor injuries and was treated by EMS crews on-site. Details continue to be released by authorities as their investigation progresses.
