Waterbury – Officer Injured By Motorist

A police officer was seriously hurt while attempting to apprehend a motorist in Waterbury last Saturday.

Trumbull – Motorist Stabbed In Larceny Incident

A motorist was stabbed by a teen that stole his car in Trumbull yesterday.

The incident occurred at the Westfield Trumbull Mall parking area. Earlier that day, a 22-year-old driver reported his vehicle, a 2015 Ford Fusion, stolen near the intersection of Manhattan Avenue and Wayne Street. At the establishment parking lot he noticed his car being driven by 19-year-old Alizen Elliston. He tried to apprehend the suspect, at which point he was stabbed in the torso by Elliston. The victim was still able to apprehend the suspect, keeping her restrained until authorities arrived. Officials later confirmed that Elliston stole the vehicle and used the victim’s credit card inside the mall. She is now facing charges related to the incident.
