Stratford – Vehicle Fire On Highway

A car burst into flames in Stratford last Saturday.

The incident occurred on the southbound lanes of Route 15 crossing Stratford, between Exits 53 and 52. Authorities received reports of the accident a few minutes after 4:00 p.m. and immediately dispatched fire and EMS crews to the area. A car with several occupants burst into flames on the highway. Injuries were reported, but everyone was able to get out of the vehicle before it was totally consumed by the fire. Medical personnel have since tended to those involved in the accident.
