Stratford – Motorist Dragged And Injured In Carjacking
A motorist fell victim to carjackers in Stratford Wednesday evening.
At 8:22 p.m., authorities dispatched responders to 2000 Barnum Avenue after a motorist reported a carjacking in the area. Two masked individuals forcibly took the victim’s vehicle. He was then dragged a few blocks before he fell off his vehicle near a Citgo station. Emergency teams have since tended to the motorist. Officials are actively looking for the stolen vehicle and the suspects. Witnesses are encouraged to contact authorities as soon as possible.
Law enforcement officials would always advise possible victims of various incidents not to fight with culprits/assailants to reduce the risk of injuries or fatalities. While dangerous, the response of the motorist involved in this case was understandable. These things said, people who are injured due to negligence are advised to talk to experts who can help them recover and pursue legal options if needed.
