Stratford – Midday Shooting Incident
A shooting incident was reported in Stratford late Saturday morning.
At 11:55 a.m., authorities received reports of gunfire in the area of East Broadway between Warwick and Sutton Avenues. Officers were dispatched on-site and found evidence of a shooting. According to witnesses, a man was injured and taken to the hospital by a neighbor. The assailant remains unidentified, but officials have since found the gun used in the shooting and have apprehended a suspect.
