Stamford – Assault Suspect Arrested
Authorities arrested a man for assault in Stamford last Sunday.
At around 5:25 p.m., a still-unidentified woman called authorities several times to report a man who was allegedly assaulting her. Officers dispatched to the scene found 42-year-old Gregory Draine and the injured victim. Draine was aggressive and tried to fight off arresting officials, with one officer was injured in the struggle. The suspect was eventually brought to Stamford Police headquarters where he remained belligerent. Draine is currently facing multiple charges related to this and prior incidents.
