Southport – Highway Rollover Crash
An SUV rolled over on the highway in Southport yesterday evening.
Emergency crews were dispatched to I-95 at approximately 8:10 p.m. and discovered a two-vehicle crash near Exit 19 (Route 1/Post Road), just under the Mill Hill Road bridge. According to officials, two vehicles collided in the area with one of the vehicles, an SUV, rolling over in the incident. Firefighters and paramedics quickly assisted all motorists involved in the crash. No one was trapped inside any of the vehicles, but injuries were reported. The crash is currently under active investigation. Authorities will release more info, including the identities of everyone involved, when appropriate.
It’s not unusual for taller vehicles like SUVs to be involved in more rollover incidents. This makes establishing liability very important as these incidents can be caused by a variety of factors, including vehicle defects/failures and negligence. The important point to remember is: people who are injured due to negligence may have the option of seeking damages with the help of expert counsel.
