Southington – Prison Sentence For Injuring Woman
A woman was just sentenced in Southington last Tuesday for stealing a car and injuring its owner.
39-year-old Amy Florian was given a 30-day jail sentence for a plea bargain related to a July 2018 case where she stole another woman’s car after getting into an argument with her. The victim tried to stop the suspect but was subsequently dragged along the road for several feet, sustaining multiple injuries in the process. The terms of the plea bargain include a year in prison, to be suspended after 30 days served, and two years of probation. Florian will also shoulder the victim’s medical and property damage expenses during her probationary period.
