Southbury – Several Vehicles Collided On Highway

Three vehicles crashed on the highway in Southbury early Tuesday morning.

I-84 East crossing Southbury experienced heavy delays following a crash that occurred at approximately 5:38 a.m. According to reports, three vehicles figured in a crash between Exits 16 and 17, resulting in moderate damage and injuries. This forced officials to block off a section of the interstate, which in turn caused significant delays in Southbury and adjacent areas. The crash site has since been cleared, and responders have since tended to all affected motorists. No word yet on the circumstances or cause of the crash. Updates will be provided as new info is released by authorities.

While bad weather conditions can play a significant part in causing road accidents, authorities will still look at all possibilities when investigating these cases. The discovery of negligence is particularly relevant to injured parties as it will allow them to file damage/compensation claims against reckless individuals. Under appropriate circumstances, and with the help of legal experts, aggrieved parties can pursue these avenues so that they may eventually find closure.
