Shelton – Route 8 Crash Update
Authorities have released more info regarding last Tuesday’s highway crash in Shelton.
Two vehicles reportedly collided on the northbound lanes of Route 8. Officials have just confirmed that the crash occurred between Exits 12 and 13. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the crash, and firefighters needed to remove the driver’s side door of one vehicle to safely extricate a motorist. The crash site has since been cleared, but the case is still under investigation. Authorities have yet to release the identities of those involved and are expected to do so when appropriate.
