Seymour – Tractor-Trailer Crash On Highway
A multi-vehicle crash happened in Seymour yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred on the southbound side of Route 8 (Ansonia-Derby-Shelton Expressway), between exits 22 and 20. At approximately 2:15 p.m., reports came in of an accident involving a tractor-trailer and other unspecified vehicles along that route. Injuries were reported, and the left and center lanes of the highway were closed immediately following the crash. The scene has since been cleared. The identities of those involved and additional information will be released by authorities when appropriate.
