Plainville – Highway Vehicle Accident
Officials were alerted to a highway crash in Plainville yesterday evening.
State and local authorities received reports of the crash at approximately 6:08 p.m. and immediately dispatched accident crews to the westbound lanes of Route 72, about half a mile before Exit 1. Responders discovered a still unspecified number of vehicles involved in a crash with injuries and immediately cordoned off the scene to allow them to process the site safely. It only took less than half an hour to clear the highway of any obstruction, though the crash is still under investigation. Authorities will release more information, including the identities of motorists involved, as their investigation progresses.
Accident crews will always follow protocol when dealing with road incidents, and that means prioritizing the safety of everyone involved in these situations. That said, identifying who or what caused these accidents is also important is it allows victims to seek justice and find closure in the form of filing for damages.
